Good afternoon to all! Now that it’s summer time and the chaos has calmed, we thought it would be fun to give all our readers a little tour of our center. It’s a space we share with UCSD’s Student Sustainability Collective, and it is by far one of the coolest spaces around- no bias here! Each day we will be posting informational snippets about how much thought and effort was put into making the SRC super green. So green, in fact, that we were awarded with LEED Gold certification in 2010! We are extremely proud of all the materials, designs, and character that were put together to create such a modern and energy-efficient space. For now, here’s a photo of some of the SRC.
